Terms of Service

By accessing or using Goalfinder ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Goalfinder is an AI-assisted tool for generating startup and product ideas, validating concepts through competitive analysis, and publishing goals and prototypes to a community feed. The Service includes idea generation, deep analysis reports, premium features, and an advertising platform.

The ideas, analyses, reports, and other content produced by Goalfinder's AI tools are generated automatically and are provided for informational and exploratory purposes only.

AI-generated content does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, business advice, or any other form of professional advice. You should not make significant financial or business decisions based solely on AI output without independent research and, where appropriate, consultation with qualified professionals.

AI models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading output. Competitive analysis is based on data available at the time of generation and may not reflect the current market. Idea scores and reports are heuristic estimates, not guarantees of commercial viability.

Goalfinder expressly disclaims all liability for any financial loss, business failure, or other adverse outcome arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

The Service is a tool to assist your thinking — not a predictor of success. Goalfinder makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that:

• any idea generated or validated through the Service is viable, original, or free from prior art;
• a deep analysis report accurately reflects market conditions, competitive dynamics, or business risk;
• following any suggestion, action item, or recommendation in a report will result in revenue, growth, or profit;
• the Service is suitable for making investment or funding decisions.

You assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on content from the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent, or use automation to create multiple accounts.

You retain ownership of content you create on Goalfinder — goals, prototypes, reports, and comments. By publishing content, you grant Goalfinder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and reproduce that content as part of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. You must not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing on third-party intellectual property, or otherwise harmful. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

Certain features require credits or an active membership subscription. Credits are consumed when a feature is used, regardless of whether you are satisfied with the output. Used credits are non-refundable.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period.

Unused purchased credits do not expire. Monthly membership credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not apply to your current subscription period.

You may not use the Service to:

• scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content without written permission;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or overload the Service;
• submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
• use the advertising platform to serve misleading, illegal, or harmful advertisements;
• impersonate other users or entities.

Goalfinder's brand, design, code, and non-user-generated content are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission. AI-generated output produced through your use of the Service is yours to use, subject to any applicable AI model provider terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these terms, abusive behaviour, or fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your published content may remain visible unless you explicitly delete it before account closure.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Goalfinder and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

The Service uses third-party providers including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and OpenRouter (AI inference). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We send the text of ideas and contexts you submit to AI inference providers for processing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
